Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was a decent finish and good move, shame it was offside

Arsenal really look toothless with Giroud up front.

Pity van Persie didn't go for sticking the ball in the net after the whistle like he did for us against Barca!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

Could easily be 4 or 5.

Carrick has been pretty poor today with simple passes going astray.

That was the most ridiculous moment of football I've ever seen.

Giroud really is an absolute donkey.

I don't think he's the problwm, it's the players who are supposed to getting the ball up to him. Podolski has been awful and I think Arshavin should have come on for him sooner.

It was, but in fairness he seems to do it all the time!

Nani usually scores in these games.

The police have Clattenberg now. Looks like Dean is doing a good job as replacement.:D

    I call bullsh*t....

Always find it funny when people give out about red cards or penos in favour of united. It seldom matters if, lik in this game, the ref is 100% right.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good rant !

De Gea hasn't had a thing to do all the day!

Arshavin has 3 or 4 goals in him

Dean does seem to take the card out for nearly every foul.

Good move bringing on Arshavin here, Wenger obviously feels his team was putting in too much effort, Arshavin will correct that.

Rafael really has came on leaps and bounds in the past 12 months! Great going forward and he seems to be more solid defensively. Lets hope Fabio follows suit.

Every single Arsenal player(bar Mannone) should be embarrassed. This could have been worse than 8-2 If it wasn't for poor finishing from United.

Ferguson has a ready replacement for cleverly in Anderson, wenger doesn't in fairness.

Thats hardly the ref's fault.the OP made it out like Dean told Cleverly to go off but didnt extend the gesture to Wilshere.

They'll probably blame Dean.... they may even blame Bogeyman....

The harsh reality is that Arsenal just aint good enough.

Where are you getting 2 for Arsenal from? :pac:

EDIT: Didn't read your post properly, read it as "could have been 8-2"

Scary thing is, Arsenal are probably the 4th best team in the league.

United, Chelsea and city are streets ahead of everyone.

Conspiracys about united and refs should be bannable offences. It's pathetic that its allowed to continue ....

I imagine if I started spouting a conspiracy that mods don't take
Action against man united specific insults i would be dealt with very quickly!

I never said it was the refs fault, I was just saying it was a lot easier for ferguson to take cleverly off than wenger to take Wilshire off.

I think with Podolski, Carzola, and Van Persie still there Arsenal would offer a lot more....Giroud just doesn't seem to offer much.

Has Podolski been awful in general or just this game?...would have loved for him to sign for Liverpool.

    Whats the score?

2-0 to united with 2 mins normal time left.

Could have been 5 or 6 to United.

So you don't think any favourable decisions utd get should be discussed, we should be banned from talking about them.

    yeah hes been great again.

When Jones and Smalling are back we shouldnt change Raf. Let him play the games, play Smalling centrally. It just shows what a run in the team does for a player

Is Dean playing yellow card bingo?

no, but when idiots start talking about corrupt referees, conspiracy theories and other general mentalness, it should be stopped.

Just this and the last 3 games before it, he was brilliant the first few matches imo. Even Santi hasn't played well for quite a while.
