Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just bought a sim free iphone 5 but iv been reading that once you put your sim in the phone it automatically locks the phone to the carrier. Is this true?

Im waiting for the 48 nano sim to be sent out to my house but i was planning on using a meteor sim until i recieved the 48 one as 48 are unreliable when it comes to anything to do with customer service or giving a concrete delivery time of the new nano sims.

If I used the meteor sim would i be able to get it unlocked from meteor (or any network) when i want to leave?

    Thanks,

Once a sim free iPhone is bought from apple direct it's sim free for life no matter what sim you put in to it!! Put any sim in to your 5 and enjoy I have mine when it launched and never had a problem when I put a o2/3 nano card into it

iPhones from the carphone warehouse will lock to the first sim.

    Only Apple sell sim free.

    Thanks,

Unless you buy direct from apple then I wouldn't risk it. Why not order from apple if you need sim free?
