I seem to remember them being top of the table for a while last year & the best team in North London "according to the table" for most of the season. Stil ended up the 2nd best team in North London at the end of the season. And losing 1-0 at home to Wigan does bode not bode well for the future.

Hoping for miracles this week now... 24 points from 7 players, -4point hit for extra transfer, so 20 points with Tevez, McAuley, Nolan, and Clyne coming off the bench!

A Tevez hat-trick:pac::pac::pac: Nolan goal and nil all draw between WBA and Southampton would turn things around nicely for me!!

High Priced defenders are looking very very expensive these days with the lack of CS.
Baines although well documented at set plays etc has returned very little lately.

If you stick with him over the long term he will reward you with a sizeable number of points over the course of the season.

He may have weeks where he gets 1/2 points but he'll be far more consistent over cheaper options over a large enough sample size of gameweeks.

I also fully expect him to get 2 bonus points this weekend bumping him up to a not so shabby 3 points.

Feel free to ditch him for someone cheaper but be warned that you'll more than likely be cursing yourself for doing so when he comes away with a 15 point haul in the not too distant future.
