Your CG actually told you what to do? Thats awful.

Just try think of one thing that would satisfy you to work as,towards or for and work from there.

Going at 16 is not an advantage. Think of all the clubs etc you can get into when you're 19! I did TY and if I didn't I would have been 16 going to college last year (well, 17 a week before it started) and now I'll be 18 going to college. :D My sister was in the same boat and was actually just gone 17 when she went to college. The only advantage was she graduated at 22 but in her first year she struggled to get into niteclubs and stuff.

I think you'd be too young going to college at 16. Some of the people I was in college with that were under 18 were very unsettled and found the transition from school to college fairly difficult. You're more grounded at 18 & have better head on your shoulders! Hell if I went to college at 16 I defiantly wouldn't have been able to cope!

    7. CK703 Pharmacy
    8. GY303 Biomedical Science
    9. TR071 Science
    10. DN410 Radiography

So this is it now. So indecisive about everything from 5-9, so I just put the typically higher-points course first and we'll let the points decide. Not the best method but I really cannot decide. Fingers crossed I get no.1 though and it won't matter. :P

    Level 8's

    1. LM044 Applied Languages
    2. GY101 Arts
    3. DC155 Applied Language and Translation Studies
    4. DN541 International Languages - French / Spanish (FSP)

I can't get 3-5, as Arts (2) is the lowest points out of the lot of them :P Felt it was a bit bare with only 2 courses though. I'm praying that I'll get my first course, cause if I don't I'll be devastated. I'd settle for arts, but meh

I think I might get that (as it's my second course), but I really don't want it (I want my first! :P).

Well if you're planning on doing mostly languages in arts, it would make sense to do applied languages! But if you are doing mostly other subjects (not languages), arts does make sense. I may see you in September, but no I want UL! :o

The points are kinda high for UL but all the best! Have a swim for me in that glorious pool :D

I'm all about French and Irish so applied languages might be the better option for me. I really need to make up my mind :P

Yeah they are.. that's why I'm worried about not getting the points! I'm sure they'll go up as well, I'm just hoping it's not be like 25/30 points, but seriously I wouldn't be too surprised by that.

Well make sure you put whatever course that interests you the much as no.1, despite the high points or whatever.
