Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Outstanding game.

A goal from Suarez that I couldn't stop applauding.

Now that the dust has settled though...13 points off the top at the start of November, 6 points off fourth already.

    It is so disappointing.

We have to take Carroll back at Xmas - this is a ridiculous situation to be in. A Suarez injury or burn out hasn't even occurred yet - god help us when it does.

No, andy won't solve anything for us. How many has he scored for west ham since he joined them in a system that suits him down to the ground?

Rodgers is very confident of spending in January, wouldn't be surprised if they're hard at it try a sort out a deal for a striker and that he joins before the united game on the 13th.

Collocini could have got 2 red cards in that game for tackles on Suarez the first came after Suarez had given away a free kick and Collocini came in late and creased him.

He also ran at him and only and slotted in a good ball to Sterling only for Taylor to come across and save him.

after he get's sent of Pardew asks him "What's that for" he replies "I've had a shocker gaffer"

Sometimes we do wear the red tinted glasses but today wasn't one of those days he got destroyed by Suarez
    .

You're an amazing lip reader, especially being able to work out that exact wording from an Argentinian international.

Destroyed by Suarez, in a game they drew. Destroying Coloccini would mean Colo had a shocker (which he didn't, made some brilliant interventions throughout the game - none less than stopping a pass with his head, while on the ground) - and that Suarz scored a brace in a 3-0 win.

Draw a fair result, we probably could've won it if Ben Arfa had his shooting boots on and had 11 men for the 94 mins.

As for Mark Lawrenson, that's an embarrassing source to use. Truly embarrassing.

    "I've had a shocker gaffer"
    Spoken like a true Argentinian.

Your a funny guy,An Argentinian international that was speaking English he had a stinker Suarez was first to every ball,Suarez had a great game and Collocini had a rubbish one if you cant see that then the Irony of telling us we're wearing red tinted glasses is truly hilarious.

Suarez had a great game, Coloccini didn't have a shocker.

A foil, a target man, someone for set-pieces, anything. He could score 0 and still be a massive help.

It is crazy to have 35m worth fo talent starting in London when we are struggling for options in the manner we are (dead horse etc).

EDIT: Btw, the usual qualification applies - signing some marquee striker in January would be great but in th elikely event that does not happen, we already have someone who could help us on the books.

He got sent off for a "cowardly" tackle got nothing of Suarez all day, could have given away a penalty and was directly at fault for the goal.

    Shocker

    Shocker
Suarez was as good as I've seen anybody play this season.(EPL)
No defender could have done anything for the goal.

Does every defender that plays against Messi have a shocker??
Just because a forward has a brilliant game doesn't mean the defenders were shìte

He was raped today by Suarez and ya the quotes came from Mark Lawrenson but you don't have to be a lip reading expert to make it out yourself

Didn't see any of this match because, I was watching the FAI cup final but what exactly is that video meant to prove? I watched the first 2 minutes of it and all he did was make a 10 yard pass in front of him, get dispossessed by a good tackle by Coloccini in the box, made 4 5/10 yard passes around the halfway line, miss the target from a free kick, have a pretty tame shot saved easily, put a header wide and take a shot from 30 yards that dribbled wide.

What is this video meant to be proving?

    Shocker

    1. It wasn't a penalty.
    2. Gutierrez was the one at fault for the goal.
    3. You have no idea what he said when he walked off.

The lunge from Colo wasn't pretty, but quit talking sh1t.

No, we paid 35m for him, but a striker who scores 0 goals certainly isnt 35m worth of talent.:pac:

    Shocker

Repeating the same point over and over doesn't make it less wrong.

Colo didn't have his best game and was rightly red carded. Did he have a mare? No.

Thought we were unlucky not to win. Shelvey let the team down when he came on, not good enough. Feel lucky to to have a player like Suarez in the team. He's a menace. To the fans that wouldn't mind getting rid of him, lol.

Shelvey didn't let the team down.

He got in the box and missed a couple of chances. That's not letting the team down.

Gerrard and Sahin were the main failures yesterday - Shelvey did everything an AM should do except score (which was annoying). Lucas cannot get back fast enough, Stevie deep is dismal.

I disagree. I like Shelvey and think he can be an important player for Liverpool if he improves his attitude. Missing the chances or losing the ball is one thing, how he reacts after is another.
