Problems trying to format 500gb external hdd to fat32

I deleted everything off my maxtor 500gb hdd because I wanted to format it to fat32. I was using HP usb disk storage format tool to format it. It didnt work too well and now when I connect the Hdd to laptop it is asking to be formatted. When I open HP usb disk storage format tool this is what it now looks like. F drive.…

Format back to NTFS and use http://download.cnet.com/CompuApps-SwissKnife-V3/3000-2248_4-10070864.html worked a charm for me when I was upgrading the PS3 HDD

I would not download anything from CNET as they require to install their own download client first. Not nice!

The HP USB Format Tool will do the job.
