Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I buy an unlocked iPhone from the apple US website (to get it shipped to someone in US to bring back to me) will it effect my warranty or anything at all? ie will I have to send it back to US if any problems?

    Thanks :)

No , I bought my I phone in the us and can get it fixed in any apple store in the world. It makes no difference.

Btw the sensor in mine broke and I bought my iPhone in the us but could get it fixed in Ireland . The warranty is valid in any official apple store but not in authorised resellers

just make sure you order the correct version, i think its the GSM version, not the CMDA version. And also the unlocked version is usually released a bit later in the US so make sure its an unlocked version yur ordering too.

Im not sure how the order will go though, as when you try pay with an irish credit card it may not go through, so it maye suit to send the money to your friend in the US then let them buy it in store.

How much is the phone in the US including taxes?
