Fairly obvious really but just in case anyone has one lying around spare and hasn't thought of it.

The power supply would have to be the 5/12v ones they use for 3.5" and 5.25" caddies, loads of them around, you'd pick them up for half nothing at boot sales people are only too happy to get rid of them.

Anyway cut off the awkward PS/2 style connector or whatever on it and solder on a spare SATA connector. If there are 2 red wires connect both of them to the 1 red wire on the sata connector.

Then all you need is one of these cheap esata cables.

Cheaper than buying an enclosure :)

If you don't have a spare power supply then these yokes should do the job, just put an adaptor onto it. For some reason I don't see too many pre-made ones with SATA connector.
