Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello after hours,

    I'm looking for help from german speakers. I've a german test in just over an hour and i'm absolutely screwed.
    The test will be to write a cover letter to a random job application. I'm looking for german expressions along the lineof 'I have a unique set of skills and strengths' , I would be delighted to here from you'

    Basically any thing ppl would write on a cover letter, phrases expressions anything you might think is useful.

    Yes I'm aware I shouldn't have left this til last minute but it snook up on me literally.

    Please help AH. I konw you can delivar.

    For the love of god make sure you use a spell check.

    hear/people/snuck/etc.

    Basic things like this will ruin you if you don't double check.

    start mentioning where you read the job advertisement. The whole thing could go along the lines of:

    Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

    ich bin auf Ihr Stellenangebot vom [insert date] in der [insert random newspaper] aufmerksam geworden und finde das darin beschriebene Tätigkeitsprofil sehr interessant. Ich verfüge über mehrjährige Arbeitserfahrung im Bereich [insert branch] und denke daher, dass ich den Anforderungen der Stelle gewachsen bin.
    Als meine persönlichen Stärken sehe ich Einsatzbereitschaft, Teamfähigkeit und Flexibilität.
    Ich würde mich sehr freuen, die Gelegenheit zu einem persönlichen Vorstellungsgespräch zu erhalten.

    The most important thing of all is to be able to say and spell Rinderkennzeichnungs-und Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz. That would be pretty vital for any German test.

    You should also make sure you can count in German, at least as high as siebenhundertsiebenundsiebzigtausendsiebenhundertsiebenundsiebzig.
