Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi , can anyone assist here please?
I have a vinyl collection and large cassette collection which I am anxious to convert for use on my iPod.
Looked at a number of units in UK and US but alas was unable to make an informed decision.
Saw a 7 in 1 unit on Amazon, radio , cassette player, iPod dock, turntable etc.
    Advice and thoughts please.
    Many thanks

These all in 1 systems are rarely of high quality.
If you were an audiophile, I would advise strongly against them. The stylus and cartridge will be in the lower end and possibly cannot be upgraded.
On the other hand, the quality may be good enough if you're only using it for putting music onto an iPod. Some of these systems include software for easy transfering of music.
Personly I have a separate turntable and casette deck and use a program such as Audacity to transfer the music. It's more labourous but at least i have 100% control over the quality.
Not much help to you, sorry, but I wouldn't use an all in 1 system.
