Siobhan's flicking her hair a lot there.

nervous energy, shes smouldering tonight and who could blame her. Gerry will be off in a cold sweat somewhere. Evelyn will be recalled for weekend duty to announce the festivities. Meanwhile Jean will be out in her designer best next Tuesday to talk about convection and disruption!

At near 300m, I'd say there's probably a couple of inches there now

I live near the huge Tesco in Naas and nother must be the higher areas around Naas.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,258 ✭✭✭highdef

Sound and east of Naas are the highest points in the area. Most chance of snow there

Yeah I think my own house is around 200m maybe a little less but it makes some difference alright, highest point in kildare :) Would get snow most years. At times we might have 8 or more inches of the stuff and down the road in Rathcoole they have slush. :P

Well almost. The nearby Cupidstown Hill is the highest point :P

Yeah true it is, I just mean the hill behind my house I suppose. It's the same hill tbh, just a point further to the right on it. 379m apparently :)

Took this photo on the way to that Tesco extra on the 21/12/10. When we came out there was another 4/5 inches of snow on the car. Drove like a Boss to make it back up the hill in untouched snow ;). Was so much snow I thought the car was going to bottom out and get beached on top of it :D

I must throw up a few pics in the photos thread... Really hope we get snow now over my christmas break. I feel I have a special bond with the stuff :o

You can just imagine the Big Derby between Londons Wasps and London Harlequins being played in the Galway Sportsground owing to fixture congestion....and with the London Irish match on at the same time... in Cork. :)
