true to form Gerry refuses to use the four letter S word but he did manage to say "wintry"

Well it seems the grass growth will be stopping which was the bad news.

Snow would be good if there was going to be very severe frost.

According to the announcer it shall be Gerry. Watch for the inner struggle!

I take it back, he made no bones of a strong easterly fetch by Saturday! Interesting too that he drew up the graphic estimating higher precip on the east coast fringe. Based on the rest of his forecast that could only ve from wintry accums.

Anybody up to speed on sea temps? This mild period must be great for adding potential for lake effect snow in the set up Gerry just showed

Most of the time temperatures have been below normal.

The current mild weather has been the exception.

Great to see the English weather people have a bit of a sense of humour by adding in the last part of the forecast. Don't normally see that with met e. they csn be very boring telling the weather no personality. I'd say they are told dont dare mention the s word or what might happen at the end if the week lol. Nula is my fav :)

They had some great forecasters in their day all who gave great presentations. Sadly Evelyn is the only survivor from the bunch.
It's more like a fashion competition now between the girls!!

Yeap and all the Mild March Hares seem to have fled the boards back into hibernation for a week or two.:D

But they will be back once they sniff something they feel the need to share with us.

The rollercoaster takes a downward dip with the GFS and UKMO. Will the ECM bring it back up again or turn the dip into a dive...

    12Z ECM....the dip has become a dive.

Next weekend's easterly looks to be off the menu, but still a long road ahead. The ECM was the only model that was showing something like this anyway, so there was always a risk with it.

Still plenty of potential in the longer ranges.

ECM is not good at all. Min will be delighted
