    On Netweather they seem to be favouring the ECM rather than the GFS

    But you can easily turn that around and say the same. I haven't noticed anyone say why they are favouring the GFS (not that I have looked) but it could just as easily be the result of a negative mind rather than optimistic mind. I could be wrong and maybe the GFS is the best bet but not so long ago I read people here saying the ECM was the reliable, but I can't remember the context so that could just be my mistake.

    It's an upgrade in the short term but the GFS is not backtracking with that shortwave riding above the high pressure, stopping it going north.
