Forbidden from the model thread at Netweather for the last few weeks, why?? because I posted that the last cold spell in December would not happen and it didn't. I feel sorry for Ian Brown, I mean my God all he said was that it may not snow!!

The modding on Netweather is so rigid. Anything out of line even slightly (regardless of its intent) is simply removed. Really strict.

Remember on the 18z GFS trough at 78 hrs south east of Greenland must go south to emulate some of the other models. If it doesn't same old. So we will know quite early what way it is going.

Not surprising given the uncertainty. They didn't go further than Sunday and easterlies were mentioned, but that was about it!

Totally agree with you ... it always seems to catch the met out... I understand its very very hard to call it here as its always so marginal, but to me it always appears they say snow and we get rain..... and I really don't want to sound like I'm met bashing , they do great work most of the time

If it does happen it mightn't happen until the 0Z.

06Z & 18Z can be dodgy, less US atmospheric data.
