Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Today in work my co-worker Mike sent me an email.

    He asked me how my weekend was and then started bitching about another colleague of ours called Sarah.
    He made comments about her appearance and weight and even went so far as to say he hates her:(

    Towards the end of the mail I realised that he didn't mean to send it to me. He had meaned to send it to his
    amigo Luca.

    Anyway, the email hurt me alot cos Sarah is my friend but I decided I had a few options to choose from -
    1) Send him back the email telling him he'd made a mistake.
    2) Forward it to my friend so she'd know what a snake and a fake he is (he is always lovely in her face)
    3) Delete the mail and have a word with him.

    I went with option 3. I decided there is no reason for my friend to know his awful opinion of her ( he is wrong
    cos she ROCKS!) but that he needed to know that I had received the mail.

    So I went over to him and said 'Even though you've worked in IT for 3 years, you haven't mastered the simple
    art of emailing'. He looked a bit shocked and confused (idiot:P)

    Few minutes later he came over and apologised to me for critisizing my friend and asked me not to tell her.

    Got me thinking, any of you ever sent an email or text to the wrong person?!
    It can so easily happen i guess (and i hope with funny results!!):pac:

    Someone I once worked with once typed up the most horribly abusive, offensive and downright disgusting mail ever written, as we'd been having a slagging match all day. He typed my name into the address bar and hit send, except it autofilled somebody else, so he sent it to one of his best customers :)

    Oddly enough, the guy who received it didnt see the funny side and caused an awful kerfuffle.
