The Election Results thread!

The first results are in, for Dixville Notch, NH. Traditionally the first place in the US to vote. (On the stroke of mindnight).

Obama 5, Romney 5.

In 2008 the resut was Obama 16, McCain 5. I guess there's been a drastic population drop in the district in four years, or great apathy has struck....

Second result. Hart's Location, NH. Obama 23, Romney 9, Johnson 1.
Swing to Obama here, last time around it was Obama 17, McCain 10, Ron Paul 2.

On wikipedia its says the township population as per 2010 was 12

No mystery, the law is not to report the results of early voting in Ohio. Or is there a plot afoot?????? No there's not.

What time, roughly, will we know the result? I want to get an idea of what time of the evening or night-time I should tune in and start watching — when things start to get exciting, preferably.

If it's anything like the election of 2000... I'll join you in any and all mind-losing exercises.

Here in the Lehigh Valley, which along with the suburbs of Philadelphia are supposed to determing how Pennsylvania goes... according to local news radio, early election turnout today has been highly Romney oriented according to reports on the ground.

New York times have lifted their paywall for the election, they'll also have live video from their newsroom. Washington Post' coverage should be good too

At first I thouht of Gobblers Knob, PA (where Punxsutawney Phil comes out of his burrow to predict the end of winter). I was hoping for a forecast of 10 more weeks of Obama.
