Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did anyone think that Walcott's goal was very similar to Lineker's in the 1990 semi final WC game against Germany ?

i missed the first half hour but we seem to be playing well. Poldolski seems to be tracking back a bit and the whole team looks hungrier. Awful time to give the goal away tho. A lot of players seem to be slipping. Santi slipped for thir goal and Kos I think slipped a few minutes before that and gave them a chance too.

Think Walcott did well for his goal. Kept a cool head and Girouds was a lovely finish. He is playing well.

Good stop by mannone, expected Huntelaar to put that away for sure. Looked offside in fairness.

Giving the ball away too easily in midfield. Wilshere guilty that time. Sagna playing well though.

dodged a bullet there looked a definite handball. We're under severe pressure here!

    Jeez Farfan is poor.

  • Administrators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,410 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Mickeroo

Must say, though the team has somewhat crumbled around him in the last few games Mannone has done well. He's establshed himself as a worthy No. 2 to Chesney now imo.

It's getting all a bit panicky now, we need a third goal.

Walcott is very watery. Stand up ya wee fecker and challenge for it.

Looking very very poor a lot of the time tonight, good thing Schalke were afraid to shoot that time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

There's definately a 3rd in this for us, just fear there's 2 in it for them!

i think that takes over RVP against barca for most ridicules decision in the CL. Where do they find the refs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

jesus my heart! Fair play to Mannone, 2 good games in a row

It's only a matter of time until they score if we allow them to come at us all the time. We have to try and keep possession here. Not holding onto the ball at all.

A blind man could see that coming. Very poor team spirit here again tonight. We are better than this surely. Getting no assistance from the bench either. Maybe time to bring on Arshavin for Podolski.

Why do we sit so deep and encourage teams to attack, can we not attempt to kill this game off

in fairness i dont really blame him for that one.

Some serious questions need to be asked about the way the team are being coached. Player for player we rnt that bad but we are a shambles as a team. Wenger has to take the blame for it im afraid

Cazorla just as bad at corners as the rest. Straight to first defender.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

There's a severe lack of bottle in this Arsenal side.

I just can't believe that we have a battering ram of a forward and none of them can put the ball on his head. It's pretty damning really!

I love the stand of the officials next to the goals.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

Feck sake, Walcott should have left it for Podolski.

I wouldn't say that, they showed bottle against Reading last week. It's a severe lack of self belief and confidence.

    Is carzola on the pitch?

    that was the reserves :D
