    Americans do pay considerably more for their cellular data, which is one of the reasons Wi-Fi is so overwhelmingly popular in the USA, but those prices are probably more sustainable than pricing in Europe, where voice calls are still subsidising data services.

    Prices on Data here need to be x5 higher and voice prices 1/2 (i.e. reflect real costs), or there will be not enough investment in Mobile to reduce "congestion" and almost no investment in real fixed Broadband.

    But Comreg are only interested in raising revenue from Auctions. They can't even protect users of Licensed Spectrum. The Management and associated DCENR managers & Civil servants consistently give Government the wrong advice.
