Just moved over from UK into a property

    Hi There

    We moved over from the uk this week into our new home, we are needing to transfer the account into our names from previous owner, but I cant find an MPRN number for the property anywhere, and the estate agent cant find either...

    also we do not have a euro bank account yet, as we need a utillity bill with our names on to proceed this - can you advise if/how we can pay without a euro account? Catch 22 situation! Very afraid the power will be cut off before we get this sorted!!!!

    Hi Tara,

    Can you please private message me the address of your new home, and if you have access to the meter it would help in the MPRN search to provide the RM serial number on it also.
    The previous occupier keeps their Electric Ireland account number - a new account is opened for you; this is created with the MPRN and a meter reading taken from the point of moving in. You would need your account number to make a payment; here is a list of manual payment methods.
