    Just wondering what hours does the night saver rate apply to ? From 11pm to 8 am is it ?

    Hi Mel,

    Yes, that is correct now that the clocks have gone back.

    And then the Nightsaver hours after the clocks go forward are: 12 midnight to 9am.

    Hi Kevthegaff,

    There is a standard meter across the board consisting of a single tariff at all times. Customers who opt to install a Nightsaver meter instead though, can avail of a lower rate (it is approximately halved) during the hours outlined above.
    However, with a Nightsaver, the day rate and standing charge is higher, so it only makes sense value-wise to have one installed if the customer uses a certain amount of power during the Nightsaver hours (a minimum of three units).
