Surprised that there isn't already a thread for this but the Godfathers of melodic punk return this January with the new album, True North. The first track Fuck You isn't half bad, granted it's not a patch on their early stuff but it sounds damn good.

Agreed! I'm looking forward to hearing the rest. At the very least, they still have their own sound. They haven't gone and "matured" or whatever bull**** excuse that bands give for adapting a more mainstream sound. I hope that they play here.

Just rediscovered 'how could hell...' and it is a brilliant album. Raw and fcuking to the point.

Lyrics are always top notch, but music dated quick and it did get a bit wanky.

    But respect is due

Strange title. Sounds like the name of song they would have wrote pre-Into the Unknown.
The song itself is pretty good except for the over-use of back-up harmonies. It's Bad Religion, so you know you're gonna get them, but they rely too much on them ever since around The Gray Race. Still going buy this when it comes out. Hopefully they'll add an Irish date to their imminent European tour, especially since both Greg Hetson and Brooks Wackerman have been coming to Dublin with their other bands.
