Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Didn't wrap, should be red, probably will be yellow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,815 ✭✭✭Burgo

Not even tried to tackle him, straight up shoulder charge.

I really wish the Irish players would step-up. Same problem as always, do silly things but let the opposition away with much more serious stuff and get the same punishment. Stand up for yourselves for ****sake.

Ridiculous to call that a red Lenihan. .5 seconds later and it's a monster hit, like Ashton's on Aplon.

  • Registered Users Posts: 579 ✭✭✭Kilkenny14

Christ that was dangerous - Henry got smashed by JP Pieterson on the restart and he gets a yellow card.

Sexton is being targeted with cheap shots when on the deck. I'm not happy, the officials need to watch that.

That wasn't a monster hit...that was a shoulder charge, illegal even if he had the ball.

    I didn't realise they'd made shoulders legal.

Have to make an effort to wrap, he had both arms down low to one side

Agree with everything bar your assessment of POM, he's been solid so far. Backrow as a unit are going great, we're the better team at the breakdown

Murray is having a great game so far too, snappy delivery
Yeah but thats as much Ryan McCarthy and Strauss as the backrow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,787 ✭✭✭d-gal

God Ryan and POM love a scrap, reminds me of the old Munster.

Nice to see Strauss getting involved, I'm sure he is getting some sly digs

steve walsh is a touch judge you would need to get shot for that guy to do anything

The scrum has been very good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Look at the replay guys, he was in the process of wrapping as he made the hit.

Ryle getting a little confused - "CJ Van de Merwe of Leinster"

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt and say he realised he had over run it and was trying to back out hence lack of wrap.

Good to see Ireland standing up to their shit, getting involved in scraps. I'd usually be against that but it's good psychologically here.

    This is very winnable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,599 ✭✭✭✭CIARAN_BOYLE

I thought Murray was going well but he has done a couple of bad passes in the last minute, balls to the head or the toes

You'd imagine they want to get under Richardt's skin. He's a strong character though.... and a runner too it seems, sorry Lambie!

Think it was meant for Zebo, but he left it. Poor pass and we're lucky the penalty was coming.

Poor kick, no atmosphere at all.

Tight miss off Sexton's worst side.

Was a bit wayward, still he's been lively enough and good in defence.

    Hard luck Sexton

Some steal by the Saffer there on Jamie

On the replay it looked like it was meant for Bowe and zebo got a small touch on it , could be wrong tho

This game reminds me of 15-10 in Croke Park, also against SA.

Great play Murray. Hard luck with the pass

Ah here, he's been poor enough but he's made one of the few genuine breaks. Just back from injury too remember

Great steal by Murray, pity it didn't work out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,599 ✭✭✭✭CIARAN_BOYLE

Pienaar going for a very long one

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 458 ✭✭bossa_nova

It'll be some kick if he makes it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Superb from Murray, pity the pop pass didn't come off.

    Hope Pienaar doesn't get this.
