Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Torres, you knob. Falls over Gerrard and lies on the ground till he realises he's not gonna get anything

Looked a clear foul by Gerrard on Torres to me I have to say.

Think we're now seeing why Sahin couldn't get his game at Madrid and was loaned out.

    I'd call penalty as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Your joking right, Gerrard was somewhat lucky there, why he felt the need to tackle from behind in the penalty area I don't know but it could so easily have been a penalty.

I mean Torres lay face down on the ground for about five seconds and then just shot up when play continued. Not saying it was/wasn't a foul

In scenarios like that, Carragher should hit it as hard as he can!

Kinda bad when your attempt to even up a 'Men against boys' midfield is bringing on an 18 year old with less than 10 starts

Some would call it brave and exciting.

    Suso/Sahin swap

Might be worth a try alrite

hes back on his feet and walking

if he had one leg he'd be left on the field.

I don't think its possible to play both Gerrard and Sahin in the same XI. the balance in midfield is all wrong.

Nothing to do with Alonso, Khedira and Ozil being absolutely world class, no?

Jesus, Suarez is far too isolated.

Yes of course, but Sahin looks well short.

Suarez did well there in fairness.

Enrique has been pretty good today TBF.

    Looking like the old Enrique

Game is a wee stretched now. Another goal is on the way

Note to Gerrard, it is 2012 and you can't beat people with pace anymore.

Being injured for a season probably adds to it also.

Gerrard looks exactly like Paul Scholes did yesterday.

could be alot to do with the fact that he is not up to it either.

Going on his Liverpool form he has been extremely poor and has been living off his Dortmund form.

    Oscar's control is special

Webb is a joke, how was that different to Mikels on Sterling?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭TheStook

Chelsea need another goal, Liverpool are gonna score it would be so typical.

Why Mikel? So reckless at times

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Going with a Torres goal in the 82nd minute.

And another tackle by Mikel and no card, its like the ref is afraid to book him. Twice he has had bad tackles on Sterling and no sign of a card.

  • Registered Users Posts: 954 ✭✭✭Midlife Crashes

Webb has done a good job winning the ball back for Chelsea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Silly from Mikel. Hope we can make this one count

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

We need legs in midfield also. I'd nearly put Hendo on for Gerrard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Howard Webb's touch is something special! ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,758 ✭✭✭Strongbow10

Rodgers checking himself out on the big screen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Both Suso and Gerrard just stop and watch him shoot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭TheStook

Get Sturridge on Now, Torres isn't going to have any impact on the rest of the game.

Marin is also a great option, will add a bit of width which is exactly what we need right now.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

    Better ball needed from Suarez.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Ahhh Enrique wins the ball back well then nearly trips himself up before passing to a blue shirt.
