For the player who's supposed to be leading the line, or playing as the "centre" forward, Suarez is having to come too deep to get on the ball.

When he gets on the ball his skills and trickery are not being put to their best use in and around the halfway line.

Which is why Sterling is playing central, this is all about containment with some carefully judged probing. Of course what happens when Chelsea score is another matter.
