    Hi,

Me and a group of lads heading to belfast in a few weeks. We are looking for an area in the city centre such as temple bar (Dublin) or a number of streets that have a lot of bars on them.

We are going to watch football during the day (premiership) and then night life later on.

Can anyone suggest an area/streets with lots of bars?
Can anyone suggest a good bar to watch the football in the city centre?
What is the best area for nightlife, any bars open past 2?
    Thanks
    Checker

What age range are you? Dublin Rd and its surrounds has some good pubs but it's near the uni so the crowd can be a bit young for some folks ;)

Group around 30 years old... average age. Any good sports bars or any other areas other than Dublin Rd?

What it like round the cathedral?

Cathedral quarter is your best bet, no students etc.

    John Hewitt
    Duke of York
    Northern Whigg
    Whites Tavern
    Morning Star
    The Garrick
    The Crown
    Robinsons

Look them up, they are mostly around Belfast City centre. :)

They aren't sports bars though - not really many of those in the city centre itself.
