Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If anyone has or can find more videos on Kilkenomics this year, that'd be interesting to check out; I can only see a handful on YouTube.

Max Kaiser and David McWilliams are a pair of populists only concerned with generating ratings or book sales. Having them there degenerates the whole festival into a joke.

I don't know David McWilliams at all really, but Max Keiser was pretty entertaining there; how is it 'populist' for him to turn up at a niche economics festival in Ireland (that I can only find a handful of videos on), when he has his own TV show on RT with plenty of coverage?

There was some pretty good (and entertaining enough) criticism of government in the video there, all around.

Heard Keiser on the radio alright and he seemed to be milking the whole "misery-porn" angle for all it was worth. Basically predicting that the apocalypse was nigh and reveling in it.
