Parents got walls pumped full of insulation about 15 years ago,

The last few years with the heat on all the time it just doesnt heat up, they have insulation in the attic and double glazed windows so just wondering could it be the wall insulation and if it is is there anything that can be done to fix it?

    Thanks

There is a possibility that the insulation as settled down or moved cause in may not have been filled tightly enough or glue effectively to itself, a termal imaging test off the walls would show you excatly if your insulation is the problem as it would show up cold spots on the walls.

Did they pump it with fibre because if damp has penetrated the outer leaf of the cavity the insulation is wet and therefore rendered useless.

Like massey mentioned a thermal imaging would likely show up the areas that are in need of some attention
