The BDO Northern Ireland Open is been held this weekend with the mens singles taking place today with Northen Ireland's Daryl Gurney defeating Holland's Willy Van De Wiel 2 sets to 0 in the final.

A good win for Daryl who's actually qualified for the PDC World Championship in Ally Pally next month but was still eligible to compete in this seemingly. Good to see common sense prevailing here from the NIDO and letting 1 of their finest talents play.
