Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone else entered this? I went onto the Irish Times website this morning looking for the shortlist of the top 100 entries, but i cant find it anywhere. Has anyone seen the shortlist? Would you be able to send me link to it?
    Thanks, Ian

    Hi Ian,

I also entered but it doesn't seem like the shortlist has been published yet. They have one and a half hour left I guess!

The list is suppose to appear here: irishtimes.com/photographyawards but that link redirects you back to the competition homepage.

Pity they didn't think to display the shortlist in some kind of a gallery format, but from the ones I clicked through to, there seems to be some great stuff there.

PS, mikka, what are the yellow blobs on the locust nymph, pollen?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 819 ✭✭✭mikka631

Hi Dakar, yes pollen from a Hibiscus flower.

I was searching all day yesterday too. I needn't have been in any rush - I was a no-show! The short listed photo's are amazing - well done if you made it.

If you're being stupid, then I'm being stupid along with you, can't seem to find any mention of the Source category shortlist, was looking as I expected to see your name on the list.

Well done to all those on the announced shortlists.
