Saorview on Philips 32PFL9613H

    Hi,

    I bought the Philips 32PFL9613H from RicherSounds a few years ago, it has MPEG4 so I presume it should work ok with Saorview.
    In order to pick up channels I need to set the country to UK which is fine but it finds all channels and they are in the EPG but the picture is not working, it just says Unsupported Video Format, I can hear the sound fine!

    Any ideas?

    Are you sure it's a 9613H? If so then that's very unusual. From what you describe, the TV is MPEG-2 only but the H series Philips sets should all be MPEG-4. :confused:

    Managed to get this working by setting the country to Italy!

    Hi Finn.

    Can't really explain that.

    The TV does have an MPEG4 tuner so should be able to pick up the channels when set to Ireland. The TV is not listed as a properly Saorview approved product but then there are lots of older models that work fine and are not Saorview approved.

    As long as you don't have any adverse issues with the country code set to Italy and Coronation street is not in Italian, then you should be O.K. but keep us posted if you have any other issues.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
