Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

To be fair he is probably pulling some nice moves on the sideline.

A random point I know, but I get the distinct feeling that a sports coach has been working with Gareth Barry on his running action. He seems to be moving at a fair clip today that appears much improved. Am I mad or does he seem to be running much more upright, and much faster?

Certainly seems quicker than I remembered.

Gallas at right back, why are we not exploiting that back getting pace on the left now?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

    Maicon outpaced Bale.

    Taxi for bale! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

No Taxi needed for Maicon today :pac:

    Edit: Damn you Kirby!

The high ball option now gone for Spurs. Should have kept Adabayor on in my opinion.

Coz Spurs have a goalie that can save shots hit straight at him. Maybe City should buy him! :p

    Inevitable really!

Fantastic pass from Silva, that's the bit of extra spark and creativity they lack when he's missing, really makes the difference in tight games like this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,907 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Dzeko time! Silva's back too :D

Fully deserved. Spurs have been an accident waiting to happen at the back. Amazing they held out this long.

    Game over.

    Silva...just Silva...

Had to come, the bad luck has to end at some stage....just hope we can hold on now.

    Dzeko :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Lol. Can you walk off the pitch any slower?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

    avb is tactically braindead,

It's not that. He is very tactically aware. It's just that he spends the week setting the team up and has no idea what to do during the game to change things. He obviously doesn't believe in changing once the whistle goes. If you examine all his changes every match.....its a straight swap usually. He rarely changes systems.

    Seems very limiting.

Maicons been fantastic! Good to see one of the best attacking full backs of our generation showing some quality of old, his off the ball runs are really clever too. Carrying some excess pounds though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

AVB never needed to ring changes at Porto to win a game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

City deserve this, Spurs have been poor imo

No idea who gets MOTM here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

AVB turning us into such a negative team. 4 centre backs on the field. Team shows no intention of attacking. A loss against City isn't shameful bit the style of football we're playing is.

Get the fuck in! Home record intact, still unbeaten at home since Dec 2010 and a massive three points. Love it.

City have been poor a lot all season and yet are still unbeaten and are up there around the top. If the big players all start to tick like first half of last season and towards end of last season they could take some stopping again.

We're still the only unbeaten professional side in England when it comes to the league.
