Dublin Board Games are delighted to invite you to the first of our series of free events: Exchange Board Games! Join us for an afternoon to discover and play board games.
What will we do?
We have selected three games that we will explain to you if you have never played them. Then you will get to try them as there is nothing like actually playing a game to learn about it. We’ll rotate the players and have multiple rounds to make sure everyone has the chance to try all the games they wish.
What games are you going to present?
We’ll introduce you to new games that are much more fun and interesting than Monopoly or Scrabble!
Saboteur is a very simple card games where you play dwarfs digging tunnels to find gold, but careful, because some saboteurs may be hiding among the players!
Tschak! is another card game where you play adventurers exploring dungeons full of monsters and treasures.
Dixit is a a beautiful award-winning board game of creative guesswork...
When is it?
Saturday 17th November 2012, from 1pm to 5pm. We’ll start playing at 1pm but you can drop in at any time before 5pm.
Where is it?
Exchange Dublin
Exchange Street Upper
Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
Special thanks to them for hosting our event!
Note that the Exchange is a non-alcohol space.
Who can come?
Our games are for anyone 8 years old and up, they are great for teens and adults alike. It doesn’t matter if you are already a real board game geek or that you’ve almost never played any games apart from Scrabble and Monopoly, you should definitively come to have a good time.
How much does it cost to join?
It’s totally free! We won’t charge you to come in, we won’t charge you for sitting at our tables and for playing! Just free!
Can I buy the games?
Yes! You can buy them from us at discounted prices from our limited stock! It’s always nice to have some at home and they are also great gifts for Christmas
