Right so icecreamqueen, Loubian and bundaberg left that I can see. What about snoozysusie and JD24? Any word? They have been quiet. Won't be much longer ladies.

I am not getting much rest here. Far Too riddled in adrenaline. Have to try though.

I was the same after my section too, knew I needed to rest but was buzzing with happiness and relief! Congrats wolf on the birth of your little lady! She surprised you all in the end! Just up now myself after doing a night feed, waiting on the boys to settle but they haven't yet! Don't think they find their cot mattress too comfy! They sleep no probs in their bouncy chairs!

She was quite the surprise. Just waiting for 4:30 to wake her for a feed. She ate well first time, took her time with the second so looking forward to seeing her attempts at The third. So itchy from the morphine but doing well overall. Only got about 40 min sleep but rested well so that's good. She is a solid sleeper.

Are you breast feeding, bottle or combining nikkibikki?

I'll be praying for you :). I hope you're not on your own there. I'm watching the Donegal match and my heart is in my mouth. If this hasn't brought on early labour, then I don't know what will.

The Oh was less than pleased with missing some of the match. :D that's our dedication to the GAA. My father is a Monaghan man so he was happy all around today.

god yeah i got an awful itch from the morphine but twas some stuff all the same! Bottle feeding now. Breastfeeding didn't work out for a variety of reasons. I had fairly bad anemia and needed transfusion result being my milk didn't come in as much as it needed to. Disappointed of course and feel a pang everytime I see or hear something breastfeeding related but know deep down it was pretty much out of my control and the twins need their mammy healthy number 1.

I beat myself up when bfing didn't work with no1. This time I am far more open minded and accepting of whatever happens. God the meds were great. The itch was something else but completely worth it.

Congrats JD24!!! Have you got a name yet?
I'm still here a week over due now and no signs of anything, not even a cramp or a twinge!
Maybe the baby just didn't want to upstage Kate Middleton so now she's in labour it can get a move on :-D

Am not due till 25th and have no signs that I might start anytime soon, haven't even lost my mucus plug - am so disappointed every time I go to the loo am like a 12 year old waiting for her period when all her friends have got theirs!

I'll never forget way back in November waiting in the GPs waiting room to get my pregnancy confirmed by my GP and watching the TV and Kate Middleton's pregnancy was announced that day too. She must have only been a few weeks pregnant at that stage, which was very unfair on her. Here she is today, about to welcome her little baby into the world. If my Mum has anything to do with it, the baby would be born today or Wednesday, here's hoping :)

Great news JD24 :), so happy another July baby has been born safely. I think the girleens are starting to outnumber the boys now.

Yes, we caught up. Wonder what the final tally will be.

What's the set up in the outpatients department of the rotunda? Do the nurses call your number to check urine and blood pressure then the same number is called again to see the doctor? No one seems to know what's going on???

The nurses call your number, you give them your urine and they take your bp and you sit down again and wait for a doc to call your number. However things a little different if you have to see the consultant specifically.

Wolf, when you went in, did they straight away go for section, or did you try naturally first for a while? how soon after you got to the hospital did contractions start, or did they start before that on the way? :)

Appt went well with midwife. Baby's engaged and I'm having cramps and twinges. If nothing has happened by Friday she said she will probably give me a sweep. Excited but nervous also..! Yikes! Definitely feeling real now. Hubby thinks ill go over next couple of days, I'm telling him not to get his hopes up. I reckon I've another week left. No sign of any mucus plug yet. How are the remaining (and ever decreasing!) ladies feeling? X

I don't think my baby's engaged at all, she feels very high up n getting only a little pressure down below. Nothing to stop me in my tracks! I'm getting pains n twinges too but nothing regular! Every pain I feel I'm begging for it to become something. I just want her here! I haven't lost my plug yet either! I reckon I'll be here for another week at least!

Getting induced Friday evening if nothing happens! Head is fully engaged and 1-2cm dilated so hopefully I'll go before Friday!

I'm the same! Just want baby to be here now  my twinges and cramps come and go but I just have an uncomfortable feeling that is hanging around the last couple of days. When hubby heard that midwife might do a sweep Friday he got all excited, but I'm preparing myself that I could still be here this time next week with no change! I hope I don't run on into August, just feels like I've been pregnant forever at this stage :D

Aw gosh, you might be in for a wait. I'm the exact same, nothing has happened, absolutely zilch. No aches or pains or plugs going. I don't even feel pregnant most of the time. My baby isn't due until Wednesday so it's fine. I have another appointment tomorrow and they're going to give me a date to induce me then. Would absolutely love to have my baby on my Mum's anniversary but it's out of my hands, I can only wish and dream :)

They left it a while, but they wanted it to be for 24 hours as true labour had not started. I freaked out as there was issues with my son with the induction. I got all upset so they came to the conclusion that my stress, her head not being engaged and the fact that I had already planned to have one they offered me one and I accepted. I was so scared I would end up like with my son and going to specialists for years after

I tried not to get pissed off, tried to tell myself she'll come when she's ready, n I really want her to be healthy, but when my mum came in n asked are we going in yet, bam! Bad mood :( I definitely think baby has come up again, she's so high, but my mum thinks I've dropped. I know she is only trying to make me feel better but still, bleurgh I want it more than any of them!

I keep telling myself I'm allowed to be hormonal and on edge, considering how pregnant I am. I feel like I'm falling out with everyone but it's anxiety coming out in all the wrong ways. So annoyed with the babies father, I have to remind him I'm pregnant and can't do everything myself. I need my rest. Can't wait for my sister to come home on Wednesday, she'll be a tower of strength.

Great news for the royal couple on the birth for their son. I can't believe she managed over an 8 pounder, she had the smallest baby bump ever. More like a round pasta belly that I'd have! Ya never know, one of our girlies could be the future princess. We'll have to ship them all off to St.Andrew's to be in with a chance ;)

Had my appointment this morning. Everything is ok so far! Have an appointment made for next Tuesday n they'll give ne a date to be induced. Really hope it doesn't come to that :( I really don't want to be induced :(

I'm in the same boat as you. I had a hospital check up this morning and everything is going fine but they're going to bring me back for another appointment on Tuesday and if nothing has happened they'll induce me on Friday 2nd. Latest I'll have baby is Sunday the 4th I reckon. At this stage, I actually want to be induced because I don't want to be at home that August bank holiday as there will be too many people around and I want the baby to have some peace. I'm buzzing today, getting really excited but I understand where you're coming from Loubian. There's still a huge chance you'll go naturally, inducement is the last point in the plan. Lots of time left :)
