Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have the phone on Vodafone UK and am generally happy with it. Some s3's come with 1gb of RAM some have 2. Make sure you get one with 2 gig. Mine has 1 and can be a little sluggish. Depends on what operator you are with.

I went for the S2 purely because of the size of the S3. The S3 mini is **** so if you can put up with the size of the S3 go with it.

I was worried about the size of the S3 as well but once you get used to it, it's fine.

I always carry my phone in my pocket. When driving or in work it was just too much of a nuisance. The S2 is fine though.

My main problem with my s3 was TouchWiz. I flashed a different ROM onto it with help from people here and it transformed the phone.

It is very big size-wise on first impressions so be prepared for that!
You'll very quickly get used to it though, it makes an iPhone 4 (and even the iPhone 5 to a lesser extent) feel tiny in comparison and they're not exactly small handsets themselves.

+1 TouchWiz is really beginning to grate badly with me, a big drawback :(
What ROM did you go with in the end?

I went for supernexus in the end.

It's weird but the replacement phone for the S3 requires touchwiz for some of the cooler functionality si I'm sticking with it for the moment.

There are disadvantages with the S3 as outlined above, but the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages and I would definitely encourage getting it

What about rooting and maybe bricking it?

Much risk? Better to do it straight away so if it does you had it back and say ****ed, can iv a replacement
