Bit of an amateur question here, But iv been using blackhat and for some reason cannot for the life of me hack enemy enquipment like bouncing bettys or claymores, I can however destroy UAV'S and the likes, am I doing something wrong or do I need to add hacker perk also?

I dont have any secondary weapons, sure you can just pick one up in a match, switch to your knife, pick up dropped gun, boom, secondary without giving up an extra perk.

Really? I picked up a KSG and I may as well have taken out the shell and thrown it at the guy, probably thought a gust of wind or a particularly large fly hit him before he shot me in the face.

The KSG is not great, seems to work better at mid range than up close, but on the games that aren't lagged to hell, the R870 is great, got a few triple kills with one blast

Surprising how little people are experimenting though, I've about 1500 deaths according to elite, 808 from weapons (guess the rest are hunter killers ). 554 of those 804 are from 3 weapons, with 13 showing as no deaths. I've never been killed by the SMR which is one of my favourites

Only a little thing but I like how there is no opening sequence loop whilest just being on the main menu in BLOPS 2. Use to drive me nuts on MW3.

Shotguns are excellent. Great way to get yourself out of a rut when your getting thrashed I'm the endless smg h2h's. You can really beast with em and light weight and extreme conditioning.

I love the noise of the Stealth Chopper when it's shooting someone. i dunno what it is about it, but that sound, mmmmmmmmmmm.

It's always someone else's chopper though cause I can't fecking get one.

Took me a while to get one, domination in ground war is great to get them. I got 3 or 4 in one round and the sound is class

Played a bit more of the campaign last night, tis getting better. Enjoyed it more than MW3 and BOPS 1. Strikeforce missions are ok.

what level are you on, everything past Pakistan is great, I wasnt crazy about the early missions, the last few levels are epic.

The thing about the KSG is that it fires a single slug rather than a spread of pellets like usual shotguns. So it's deadly if you're on target (and the range is excellent) but it's difficult to be on target with a single bullet

I'd imagine whoever masters aiming with it would be beastly

Do the strike force missions effect the storyline? Had the first go at one last night and got obliterated, not sure I could be arsed with them tbh. Other than that enjoying campaign so far, though it seems to be easier than past games on veteran.

I just stick it on recruit and run through everybody getting shot at by about 20 people and still survive

I'm only interested in the story line part of it, not the shooting bots part.

The ending of the campaign is a bit mad, the VERY end.

I did one, they unlock stuff to use in the campaign but I'm not sure how they affect the plot, doing/failing some things in missions does though. wonder is there a what actions unlocks what ending guide yet.

Just finished the campaign there. Very enjoyable. Look forward to seeing the various endings at some point. Adds that replay factor to the campaign that past CoD campaigns lacked other than CoD4 with it's arcade mode.

Was wondering that myself . The perk only works if you're moving but is that running at full pelt or will you stay off the radar aiming down sights while stalking prey .

Give it a go its good, the early missions are a bit meh but it gets great after the first few

Not sure about the other CoD games, but CoD4 didn't (I played through the entire campaign early last week for the umpteen time! ).

There is a choice where to shoot, think theres an achievement for shooting him in the head and theres also an achievement for shooting him in the body.

I thought the campaign was decent. The engine is so old tho. Hard to enjoy it fully knowing the other types of graphics out there.

However I see the key to things now for a player like myself who rushes is to just load up on perks and ditch the lethals and secondaries. Pick ten is cool.

Its not a bad looking game though, the engine is old though but it runs in 60fps and some of the facial textures are good

Yeah no its always a slight improvement and the facial textures are indeed the best they have ever been along with solid FPS its good but its getting hard to except it when you look now at other games such as Halo 4, Crysis and Battlefield.

Still enjoyed it but won't be re-playing it like I did with COD 4 about 20 times.

Started completing some of the challenges in 'Game Modes'

Had a bit of crack playing CTF. Some buzz running with the flag in overtime when your useless teammates are spawn camping not realising we have to capture their flag in a quicker time than the enemy.

Ducking and dodging bullets and dolphin-diving onto our flag to cap it and win the game with less than a minute to go.

Yeah, good crack.

Loving Blops 2 so far. Had a game over the weekend, HC TDM, was 24-0 up before I got TK'ed... I know it doesn't count as a death on the scoreboard but nyeh! I finished 32-2.

Warming more and more to BLOPS 2 day by day. Dont really get much time on to play with other commitments but starting to improve. Settled on the Scar-H as my gun of choice, was chopping and changing there alot between SMGs, LMGs and Rifles for a while and never really got the max potential out of a gun.

stick the acog sight and attachment where you can change between burst and full auto, great for close and long range stuff.

I've settled on the SCAR-H too. Using the reflex sight so far. The SMGs don't really do it for me, scar seems to have a good balance between long and short range capability, even won the odd 1v1 against those pesky laser sighted SMGeebags.

the FAL with fire select is pretty beastly, you can use the semi auto as standard and change it to full auto, handy out

What's the recoil like on full auto? Saw a vid and it looked a bit much but I might give it a go and see for myself. I've pretty much stuck to the SMGs but started using the SCAR and one of the shotguns, S12 I think. When they work they're fun to use
