Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all,
i have a krups toaster that worked perfectly until a few days ago, we had an electrician in the house adding some sockets in the front room, which was prob just a coincidence, when i put on some toast, there was a bang and spark from it, hasnt worked since..changed the fuse but no good.any ideas what could be the problem??

Element shorted probably, I doubt that you could get a spare one that's cheaper than a new toaster.

Speaking of toasters if anyone knows why on a double toaster one side works fine but the other side does not lock down. When you physically hold it down it turns on but the spring mechanism doesnt work. Is it a throw out job also?

Probably just dirt in the mechanism, taking it apart and cleaning might do the job.
