    Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good carvery in Dublin 2 - around the Merrion Square/ Pearse St Dart Station area. Willing to walk 5/10min or so.

Trying to find somewhere to get a good feed on my lunch but to no avail so far. McTurtle's (next to Tara St Dart) is good but a bit too far.

    Appreciate responses.
    Thanks

O'Neill's on Pearce Street is quite nice. Portions not as big as Mc Turcaills, but not necessarily a bad thing.

On the corner opposite Trinity pub (in fact you probably pass it on the way to Mc Turrcaills).

Imho its crap. As carverys go its not bad, but carverys in general are lumps of overcooked meat, left sitting on the heat for ages, served with veg cooked to within an inch of its life. I can think of better things to eat on a Sunday. Thats just my 2c

Brought the Parents into O neils a couple of months ago for a cavery at lunch.
Can't say i was impressed to be honest. One of the worst caverys i've ever had. Maybe it was on off day for them.
