I remember it well.
It was on the N2 roughly where FORD, and all those garages are now.

No photos of it though

The planning Application to demolish it was 3220/99 with Dublin City Council.
Maybe you could request the file and have a look in it?

No documents online as it pre-dates the freedom of information act thingy!

thanks kceire,your spot on thats exactly were it was as i drank there myself.hopefully someone has photos of it,i was in the bar the night it closed and there was a guy there with a a big old vhs video recorder.jeeees would love to see that now.maybe someone has a few photos hidden away they would share with us all.

Hey Ive seen some pics on a friends page on facebook think you have to be his friend to see them though sorry my OH speaks very highly of that place too,he drank there for years and no other pub matches it according to him

is it possible you could tell him about this thread texas?,then perhaps he can he might post them here.the chances are i will know him but he does not have to identify himself.i just wish to see some old memories.thanks texas
