Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I am a veggie and train 2-4 times a week (mix of cardio and weights). I found that protein shakes are very helpful to aid muscle recovery. I also add some protein powder to various recipes - greek yogurt & berries, pancakes etc

I have 2 types - chocolate Tony Quinn and vanilla Promax by maximuscle.

Both are nearing their end of life :D so I was wondering should I stick with one of the abouve or should I be looking at an alternative brand? Maybe somthing with less sugar/kcal?

On a totally seperate note I use Lidl 10% fat Greek yogurt. Any recommendations on lower fat options?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

go with one with teh least extras as possible.

All you want is protein, not the sugar/fat/carbs that they add.

So read the nutri info on the box and buy the cheapest/best one!

With regards the Greek yogurt - try fage total 2%

Don't know how you managed to stomach that Tony Quinn stuff!!! I switched from ON to Profusion (think its made by that UN Sports company). Was only 40 blips for the 5 pounder, tastes good and the nutritionals are decent too!

FAGE is the brand. I buy it in a store called JC's in Swords north Dublin. Never bought it anywhere else so not sure if anywhere else stocks it.
