Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,
    I know some of you have been looking at moving to teach in the UK. My school in Essex is currently looking for some full time staff. The advert is below and if you have any questions about the school just ask.

    Are you the sum of all the right parts?
    Chase High School is looking for passionate teachers in a variety of subject including RE, Health & Social Care and Maths.



    About you...

    You will have completed your teacher training to a high standard. You’ll have good classroom management skills and the willingness to learn and adapt to a new school system. You’ll be open to building on your initial qualification with further training and development. You’ll be a good team player who has the confidence to share ideas and also take your own initiative to create exciting engaging lessons for students of all abilities.

    What next?

    Please send us a CV and extended cover letter telling us about you and your approach to teaching your chosen subject. We’d also like you to send a lesson plan which you would teach if you were shortlisted. Initially, we’ll do a phone interview to create a shortlist. Shortlisted candidates will be flown over by Chase High School to attend face to face interviews and also teach your lesson plan to our students
