Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apple TV issue with no broadband

Apple TV works great normally but I've been trying to get it working over an Eircom Netopia router, with no broadband, so that I have a way of using it in places with no broadband.

Let's say it's running fine, with music streaming from the iPhone.
I plug out the phone line and it continues working fine.
However, if I start from scratch and try to connect the iPhone to the router (with no broadband) it connects fine and then loads up a page containing the router control panel.
As soon as you exit this page the wireless connection disconnects and reverts back to 3G.

To be fair, the issue is more with the iPhone than Apple TV as it seems to connect to the router fine, regardless of whether there is dsl or not.

I'd initially hoped to get airplay working through Personal Hotspot but this seems to be a non-starter.
Apple TV connects to the hotspot fine but nothing works and you don't get the airplay option when playing music, etc.
