Looks like the local law enforcement have had a busy week.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Co Sligo.

A quantity of Methylethcathinone with an estimated street value of just over eight thousand euro was seized by officers as part of an investigation by the Garda National Drugs Unit this afternoon.

The two men, aged in their 20s, are being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996.

I understand two houses in Coolaney village were raided around 7.30am the other morning, is it any wonder that the Garda Armed Response unit is patrolling Coolaney all the time, how are these people allowed to live in communities where little kids and law abiding people are living?
