    Hi all.
I'm doing some work on the petrol engine of a Mazda 323f. I need to turn the engine over, but I don't want the plugs to fire, or fuel to be injected into the cylinders.

Is it ok to disconnect the coil packs and remove the Engine Control System fuse (10A) that's located in the interior fuse panel? ....(There is a second fuse in the engine compartment fuse block thats labeled INJ OR FIP, rated 30A. This feeds the Engine contol system for a petrol (or the fuel injection for a
diesel). Since the car is petrol, how come there are two fuses for Engine Control? Should I pull out both?

    Thanks!

    Turn over once, or more?

If once (well, twice too) just put 5th (or any highest) gear on and push your car. Removing spark plugs will ease your efforts. :)

Remove the fuel pump relay, engine won't turn over...
