You are not so great yourself with your Jags were right to go for it.

In fairness 74 points had been scored to that point. You could be forgiven for thinking that you don't want to rely on defense.

Sorry I bothered my arsé getting gamepass tbh, I seem to have watched most of my Pats games so far either on Sky live or via Redzone.

Well i'm far from a Steelers fan and they do look a bit waspish, but I freaking love those throwback jerseys.

    Roth....who??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,799 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

I don't know who missed those tackles on Leftwich, but they should be shot. Pathetic.

I can't stand those wasp jerseys. Only watching for a quarter or two, so my eyes be able to stand it for that long.

Haha how did he manage to get that in? Looked as if he was going as fast as an O-line man. Got to love it though.

There's nothing quite like the tension of Ravens-Steelers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Lucky escape for Flacco with that missed INT.

Paul Kruger is playing a blinder

Some huge hits late in the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

    Christ that was absolute muck

Two hard hitting D's in a game that comes down to the last minute. Far from muck imo.

I mean, it was enthralling in its own right i suppose but it was dreary, the two teams never got far enough apart that i could pack it in and go to bed but i'd liken it to a soccer game where one side goes 1-0 up after 10 mins and that's all she wrote. Offensively that game was laughable in all fairness, some great hits and defensive play but neither side could move the chains for **** all night. I mean, after the first quarter id say there was 20 + punts

Anyone else pissed off with the amount of flags on pass interference especially? This season seems worse than ever.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Alright, this is my first MNF in Ireland this year, only moved back here on Saturday, can't believe it's only on the red button on BBC....what a joke!

He's destroying all around. Niner's D awesome too.

    17-0 after 17 mins.

Bears in for a long night. I hope they have something in them or this will be over before half tmie.

    Smith getting worried.

    INT.

I think this is game over and we're not even 20 minutes in.

Finally, Bears sack to force the field goal. 20-nil. I'm a 49ers fan here but delighted Bears made something happen. Had a big miss on previous set when they dropped the tackle that would have ended the drive.

Id say this is done. Kaepernick looks pretty good in fairness, Smith should be sweating it. Couldnt see the Bears clawing a 20 point lead back with Cutler, never mind Captain Checkdown

jesus Kaepernick is playing unreal. that last TD reminded me of brady

could be big questions in SF now

Just watched the game on gamepass. Kaepernick was absolutely brilliant. Looked very composed against a tough D. Can't see the 49ers keeping him in with Smith back though.

    its offical
us Bears are nothing without Jay Cutler ,
boy where we SH1T last night
and only 2 hours sleep for me ...............Angry , yep fechin Bet I am :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

Might be a bit of an overreaction from last nights game but would it be fair to say that the 49ers with Kaepernick under center look more a potential Superbowl winner than if Smith is?

More mobility, deeper threat and more upside vs. experience and game management.

If you were Harbaugh who would you go with or would you just go week by week?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

Bears had no tape to prepare for Kapernick.

Smith is 26/28 4TD 0INT in his last two games.

    see: Matt Flynn

Would definitely stick with Smith :)

Nothing worse than staying up for a primetime game and for them to be appalling.

Luckily few such opportunities come around for me. Bills.
