Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It wasn't even close to Ibra's. WTF?

Mexes goal is better than ibras cos he had to control the ball from the free kick with a defender on his back execute the over head kick at the edge of the box with more than 2 defenders and a goal keeper gone walk about and no empty net.
And to top it off he did in a match that counts for something and not some meaningless friendly. There was 3 points and a place in the next stage of the most important European competition club wise.
Oh yeah and he's also a centre half.
I bet this goal doesn't even get mentioned as much as ibras cos he's not a flashy player

I'd say Mexes is technically better (great chest control setup and good contact) but I still think Ibra's is more amazing purely because of where and how he did it.

Ye Mexes technically better, Ibra's more WTF and how. I could imagine more people scoring the one Mexes did.

No way, Ibra's was into an open net!

Did you see the Anderlecht keeper? Might as well have been an open net. He just watched it.

Not to take anything away from the technique. Was an amazing goal. Even more amazing considering it was by a CB.

IMO Ibra's was a good bit better. Farther out. Going away from goal. Less time. And the most important thing, the hight in which he connected with the ball. Technically perfect.

Mexes had the time to control it by chesting it down, and getting it to a hight he was comfortable with. Zlatan didn't.

p.s Not a Zlatan fanboy either. Was never a big fan. Loads of talent, but seriously questionable mentality.
