Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So, we have all heard the stories about people financially strained at the moment or we are even in that position. I don't really want details of people's problems but want to know what people did about them!!!

Whatever it may be, negative equity, major credit card dept, over due car loan etc etc. Surly not everyone has sunken and some people have managed to swim to the surface! If you have or know how some one else has, then, what lengths did you go to to get there......

Typical, first few replies are smart ass people trying to be funny.

I started writing online SEO articles to take in an extra few quid. Make about 150 extra per week which at least covers the shopping.

Whilst living in Canada, I had so little money that I walked around the supermarket staring at the floor looking for loose change that had been dropped so I could try and find enough money to eat.

    It wasn't my proudest moment.

Impossible to get a decent job. Even minimum wage jobs expect you to be totally flexible and being a student I can't be unemployed so have to accept what there is out there.

Thats it in a nutshell. Although after decembers budget we'll have to spend a lot less to stay true to the above.

we experience financially drained, to the point that i cant even buy my kids a cookie. what we did is we focus spiritually, take every step very seriously, we plan everything very carefully. and of course, staying happy, being together, not arguing with the money or problem help us to recover. always remember, evry problem has a solution. ;)
