Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Leather Tailor in Dublin

I've bought a leather jacket off ebay some months back, but it's a little too big for me.
As I can't return it now, I might see about getting it altered to be a bit tighter on me.

Can this be done, is it even a good idea?
If so, does anyone know a good place that could do it in Dublin?

Not sure if it would be worth the cost - my friend had to get a rip in the sleeve of a leather jacket fixed and it cost her €70 so can only imagine how much a full jacket would cost to take in! Not sure where she got it done though

There's a leather shop on Harcourt St with a guy in the back that does repairs and alterations. Not sure what the name of it is but it's painted white outside and has two steps up to the door. My sister got a leather bag repaired there recently.

It's Donnelly Leathers very good to deal with, and they will give an estimate of the cost.

Hi just wondering if you went ahead and got this done. I have a similar problem myself, saw a jacket but it's only in a bigger size. Would it be very expensive to take in?
    Thanks

I dont know how I stumbled across this post again a year later.. but I didn't anyway, I still have the jacket though and it's still too big so I still might get round to it!
