cost per square metre / foot to build in 1999

    ok
    fuzzy question i know
    but
    i need to find out how much roughly ( i know ) it cost to build a
    one off house in the countryside ,, west of ireland, in 1999
    to a fairly standard spec.
    i know its a how long is a piece of string question but its only
    for an approximate calculation
    cost per square metre or foot, remember we were working in
    punts at the time

    I built a house in Rural Galway in 2001. It cost about £32 / square foot to builders finish. Nearly the same again to finish it.
