Update: Annoying/unwanted/unpleasant ads

    Hey guys,

    Just a quick update on the ad situation-we're making some changes to Google account set-up, hence we have seen some ads slipping through that had previously been blocked.

    We can block based on networks, categories, technologies or specific domains/ publishers but when reporting do please give as much info as possible/

    Our direct sales (ie the ads sold by the team here in HQ) always require user initiation; so the ads you see which are intrusive without any interaction from you are more than likely ones which have slipped through Google.

    We know it is really annoying and it has increased over the last week but do keep reporting anything that's inappropriate please-we can and will make sure they are blocked.
