Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys.

Both myself and my gf bought galaxy s3's the other day.
I boot mine up and got a prompt to upgrade to 4.1.1. I donnload it and upgrade with no hassle.

My gf's phone didnt give her a prompt. I can go into the settings , about device, software update, update. It just says there is no update available even though she is still on 4.0.4...

Anyone any ideas how to upgrade it?

Samsung kies software might do it. Just upgraded an S2 through it even thought settings-about software-software update-update didn't show an update

Yup, both on meteor. We bought the phones at the same time.
Im not really familiar with android but i just sussed out that my s3 is running jellybean and my gf's s3 is running Ice Cream Sandwich.... It seems i need to root her device to upgrade it to jellybean which is a load of balls.

Is this because the phone she got handed is an older version or something?

EDIT: I tried connecting via kies and there is no update available which makes sense now that i know were not even on the same version of android.

So is there any ideas on this from people.
Should i be bringing this back to the shop and telling them to give me a current version of the phone?
